    Looks: Display is the best of any detector on the market, demands respect.

    Sensitivity: Easily one of the most sensitive radar detectors on the market, lacks laser reception.

    Quality: Very sturdy unit, but plastic casing is prone to scratching.

    Support: Escort has really improved customer service, easily one of the best in the business.

    Features: Auto mute, Spec Display, Expert Display - rivals Valentine Ones bogey counter, GPS...

    Looks: Magnesium Casing, Display is Bright - Full Auto Dark, Easy to read & understand in all conditions, 3 Easy Buttons.

    Sensitivity: Dominates all radar bands, but laser is questionable.

    Quality: Built like a tank, love the magnesium case.

    Support: Fixed 33.8 Bug, and customer service has really improved.

    Features: Auto mute, Spec Display, Autodim, City No X

    Falsing: Auto mode is a incredible around town. City No X...

    The age old question which is better? I would say it depends on your driving style and your personal preferences. I used the x50 for about 4 months. I found that the blue was hard on the eyes at nighttime and would glare off of the windshield. I fixed that by making the display a small dot that didn’t move. However as soon as spring hit I found that the audible alert on the x50 to not be loud enough. ala driving down the road and it was hard to hear with the windows down and the system up. much...
