Default How many laser detector heads on a sports bike?

I have a Bel LP905 laser detector/jammer kit for my black sports bike (single head light.) The kit comes with 2x laser detector/jammer heads for the front and 1 for the rear. How many do you use on your bike at the front? I dont need one in the rear as they never shoot laser from the rear in my area.
Will having all 3 heads in the front be of any benifit?
Will having too many heads/pickups make it more likely for the police laser guns to show a jamming code?

I swear this is the second time I heard "pick ups" as heads? anyways if they dont hit ya in the rear, slap all your "pick ups" in the front 8)

Bikes will only need one Diode "pick up" to be safe. Unless the leo try to paint your head with lidar.......which I heard is another way of getting a reading off a bike.

hey admins... can I use "pick ups" instead of jammer heads from now on ?

OK then "Jammer heads". You sound like my English teacher. BTW I am using LP905 laser detector/jammer if this makes any difference. Is this LED or Diode?
My bike, helmet and jacket are black so hopefully it will be pretty stealthy

Blacks the only color have, most riders might say very different, but if your prone to enjoy going fast often, it's very hard to distinguish 8)

I haven't got a jammer, but the way real lidar is going around here, it might be a wise investment

Diode is supposed to be the ducks guts, apparently....

^ Unless I'm totally mistaken, they are similar to the ZR3, and are LEDs - not diodes.

I have the Blinder M20 system installed on my Honda CBR929RR. I just have one head in the front, and one in the rear. Space is somewhat limited so more heads than that would probably be out of the question.

Default Beware of reflective material on your riding jacket

I got popped last sunday by Lidar @ 296'. 76 in a 55. The LEO caught me on a 'good' day. I got to thinking about what are the most reflective surfaces he could have been aiming at. #2 on my list is the highly-reflective trim & logo on my First Gear riding jacket. These appear white during the day, but when viewed in a headlight, it becomes obvious how reflective they actually are. Bikes have the advantage on no front licenseplate, so beware you are not making it any easier for Johnny Law (or officer Gibson in my case) by providing a front facing reflective surface

At 296 feet you could be all in black and they'd still get you.

They usually aim at your headlight or the area above your front tire but your forks etc reflect back nicely.

    Default 296' or bust

on the front of my CBR, there isn't a whole lot of fork or anything other than headlight to target.

I'm thinking that some Veil and perhaps another product that I've found might do the trick. No one has used this stuff for anti-radar/lidar commecially yet, so I'm gonna do some testing and post the concept or results when I know more.
