Default Cruisader installed on 03 CBR954

I just got popped last week (83 in a 60) and decided I needed a radar detector. I just finished installing a Whistler cruisadar and was wondering what everyone thinks about it. I haven't had a chance to take it on the highway yet, but it seems to work well in town. I commute 60 miles each way to work, so it will get some field testing soon.
The instructions indicated that there is a audio option for it, but I can't find it anywhere. I guess I will have to get used to visual alerts only. I wear a full face helmet so I am not sure the H.A.R.D system would work well.

    Welcome to the forum!!
I think you are the first member to buy one.
So I guess that will make you the expert on this. hahahahaa
As for the helmet display there is not much out there about it other than what Whister's page says about it

    Optional Wireless In-Helmet Display (WIHD)
    Discrete installation inside of helmet.
LED provides warning of detected signals.
Bright and Dim settings for day and night "Cruising".
Auto shut off feature - unit "sleeps" when the Cruisader is off.
    Long battery life.

Get out there and get us some reports on the perfomance of this model.

I too will be waiting for a report. I'm thinking on installing one on my Concours. I bet you didn't think you'd become so popular so quickly.
