Cruisader radar antenna position?

Hello all,

I am busy installing laser jammers and the Cruisader on my BUELL. My question is, can I put the radar antenna BEHIND the black plastic fairing on the bike?

I realise it will not be able to detect laser in this position, but the jammers will do that for me. I understand that the radar detector is not affected by glass or tinted plastic shield, but is it affected by solid black plastic? :?

Hey Snick,

No issues mounting the radar behind the black plastic as long as there is no metallic paint on it.
