    Default x50 led mod?

So after much research and reviews i decided to go with the x50.

I ride a motorcycle, and i ride it fast. Is there an led mod you can get for the x50 where i can hook up a strip of leds to it externaly? without doing any soldering or voiding the warranty on the x50?

I think Roy has a HUD display that projects it onto your helm. Check his motorcycle accessories section.

Another option too is to use the headphone jack and only use one earpiece headphone like ipod headphones. This would be a lot cheaper option.

There are a few options you have in fitting this detector onto the bike, I will say I really think you should drive around in a car with the x50 to sort of get a feel of what its like before dropping hooking it up to the bike.

(Check out the 'Motorcycle Protection' section of this forum for tons of options).

BTW: It is a radar detector... not an LEO detector, so if you ride... and ride fast a lot, sooner or later your luck will run out.

This is what you're looking for. I have this item but cant recommend it.

Its just not bright enough and I like to wear a tinted visor.
