Man clocked doing twice the speed limit

A Sydney man has had his licence suspended after police clocked him doing more than twice the speed limit in an 80kph zone.

The car was detected on Blacktown Highway near Prospect, in Sydney's west, about 9.45pm (AEST) on Tuesday travelling 166kph in the 80kph zone, police said.

A 25-year-old Quakers Hill man has been charged with drive speed dangerous and had his driver's licence automatically suspended.
