Default Pa Local police radar use remains in limbo

    Delcotimes.com
    12/6/2004

When the General Assembly ended its session last week, once again legislation that would enable local police forces to use radar wasn't on the screen.

"I think we're the only state that handcuffs our local police departments in using every available tool in enforcing speed control," Barrar said.

You know I would rather have to deal with Radar and laser then have to deal with the old but LETHAL VASCAR, I honestly mean this

    Default Vascar

I agree or using a stop watch.

24 years ago when I started as a cop, that is all we used. We would measure out a location, normally a guard rail and sit on a hill.

Have to tell You guys that here in Finland (for our luck), the officers are so lazy that the easiest way to do it is sit in patrol car and drive around with Stalker on ...
Not even laser is very widely used here. One ought go out the car, even walk few steps

If I was a Police officer I would still use VASCAR. If I was in charge of a Police Dept. my ENTIRE force would have the LASTEST VASCAR technology which I guarantee would be cheaper than Laser AND Radar and would be more effective.
