A 33-year-old Queensland man has lost his licence after being detected travelling at an alleged 101km/h over the speed limit at Killarney Vale today.
Highway Patrol Officers from the Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command were this morning conducting LIDAR duties at the intersection of Wyong Road and Killarney Street, which is a 40km/h school zone.
At 8.35am, the officers allegedly detected a Honda motorcycle travelling at 141km/h. They stopped the rider and his licence was immediately suspended.
The man was issued with a court attendance notice for the offence of speed manner dangerous. He is due to appear in Wyong Local Court on 15 September 2006.
