Jackson police target Raymond Road speeders
Jackson police crowded Raymond Road in south Jackson this morning issuing speeding citations to motorists scurrying about morning errands.
The posted limit ranges from 35 mph to 40 mph.
"There must be eight police cars going up and down the strip from Ellis Avenue to CMMC," a caller said. "They're handing out tickets left and right."
A spokesman for the Jackson Police Department said he did not know the number of tickets issued or the reason for the action.
