NANAIMO, B.C. (CP) - The driver of a farm tractor is facing an impaired-driving charge after a slow-speed chase through the Vancouver Island city.

RCMP said Tuesday a man drove his tractor from his rural farm along Highway 19 and bumped into a truck at an intersection.

The truck driver followed while calling police as the tractor continued on its way Monday and stopped at a beer-and-wine store and a Volkswagen dealership.

Police arrived and boxed in the tractor while arresting a man.
