Drivers see the signs on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, but until recently no one could tell where mobile photo speed-enforcement vans were hiding.

A law now requires that Scottsdale police highlight the warning signs on Frank Lloyd Wright with bright yellow labels and place warning signs 300 feet in front of the strategically placed mobile vans.

Scottsdale has always maintained warning signs near speed-enforcement cameras on Frank Lloyd Wright east of Scottsdale Road. Police now will post the signs near mobile vans in zones with speed limits of 45 mph or higher.

The signs are mandatory from a law that grew out of House Bill 2174.
