Grand Prairie Gets Red Light Camera

(Grand Prairie, TX) -- The city of Grand Prairie has turned on their first two red light cameras. They are at the intersection of Belt Line and Lone Star Parkway, on the north side of the city. For the next 30 days, violators will get a warning letter, but no fine. After January 28th, violators will be fined 75-dollars. The city plans to install cameras at ten more intersections and at three rail crossings in the new year.<
