Rowlett Wants Red Light Cameras On State Highway-66
01-24-2007 2:59 AM

(Rowlett, TX) -- Rowlett officials want to expand the city's red light camera coverage, but they've run into a state road block. They can't use the cameras on a state maintained highway. The city is asking for an exemption to allow the red light cameras at intersections on Lakeview Parkway, which is also known as State Highway-66.
