This story is a week old, but I don't see anything about it posted on the board.
Florida State Rep. Mike Bennett has re-introduced a bill that would fine drivers $500 for not moving over once they realize traffic behind them is overtaking them at a high rate of speed. Drivers would be cited for impeding the flow of traffic. The goal is to try to reduce road rage on Florida highways. Apparently there has been an effort for the past three years to get this bill passed in Florida, but it has not made it into law yet. This version of the bill will be considered when the Florida legislative session begins next month.
