A bail bondsman who said he intentionally ran a red light monitored by a camera has filed suit against the City of Houston.

Michael Kubosh, who is represented by his brother Paul, arrived at the civil courthouse to file the suit Monday morning.

Kubosh claims the cameras are part of a money making scheme and violate the constitutional rights of drivers.

Since the first cameras went up in September the City of Houston has collected an estimated $2.2 million in fines.
