CPD expands traffic enforcement in May

The Columbia Police Department plans several traffic enforcement patrols this month, starting his weekend.

Extra officers will be working on the nights of high school proms and commencement weekends for high schools and colleges, according to a news release from the police department.

Officers will also be working DWI enforcement this weekend.

The police department will also participate in two statewide seat belt campaigns, including "Buckle up in your Truck," May 6-12, and "Click it or Ticket," May 21-June 3.
