DUNNELLON - City police will conduct a special traffic-enforcement detail from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday to target speeders, aggressive drivers, and stop sign- and stop light-runners, as well as those not wearing seat belts.

Traffic Unit supervisor Brandon Beckham said Dunnellon police officers will implement the heightened patrol on U.S. 41, County Road 484 and West State Road 40.

Beckham said the detail is the Police Department's kick-off for Click It or Ticket, a nationwide seat belt enforcement campaign, which will run from May 21 through June 5.
