Bismarck, N.D. (AP) The Highway Patrol is on the lookout for people who drive too fast in road construction zones.

The patrol says it'll be cracking down in the coming weeks especially along Interstate 29 in the Fargo area.

The patrol says the crackdown is in response to the public.

Authorities say speeding and following too close are the two most common violations in construction zones.

The speed limit is 40 miles an hour in a construction zone. The patrol says driving too fast can cost a driver at least 80-dollars when workers are there.
