Seems like to me that this accident illustrates what can happen with a poorly trained LEO and a the LEO's bad decision to chase motorcycle.Originally Posted by Washington Post article
Appears this cop didn't know how to drive very well in a high speed chase. Seems like this cop had his/her vision fixated on the motorcycle and not the other vehicles on the road which is why I think the cop slammed into a car the bike cut in front of. Any good driver knows you don't fix your vision on only the car or bike in front of you especially at high speed you should be trying to look as far down the road as possible.
Seems to me it is always a bad choice for cops to chase a motorcycle unless they have air support or are on a motorcycle themselves.
What do you all think would have been better, let the speeding motorcycle go or cause this?
Unless the person on the motorcycle murdered somebody or some other crime bad like that the cop shouldn't have chased him.
