Unicoi County Deputies say they've never seen a speeding problem like this.

They've had to arrest four motorcyclists in a month's time for flying along Old Asheville Highway.

Deputies arrested one biker over the weekend for going 96 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.

The sheriff's department says the roads are just too curvy for any driver to be going that fast.

The Unicoi County Sheriff's Department has increased patrols and radar throughout the county—especially Old Asheville Highway.

Deputies say it's working. They're seeing a slight decrease in speeders.

The sheriff's office says that could be because deputies don't hesitate to skip the ticket and go straight for handcuffs.
