VANCOUVER/CKNW980 - The latest traffic enforcement campaign from Vancouver police has them playing hard ball with drivers who love to put the pedal to the metal.
Constable Howard chow says they're using a ‘two strikes and you're out’ policy.
"If you go through one of these speedwatch set-ups and you've already been informed that you're going over the speed limit, there'll be traffic enforcement officers set up behind them that'll end up pulling you over and this is to send out the message that school's right around the corner --around parks and playgrounds to slow it down.'
The campaign targeting Boundary Road and the Knight Street corridor wraps up August 17th.
