The Bow Police Department stopped 619 cars in three months, issuing 107 tickets, according to newly released statistics.

According to Lt. Dave Girard, between July 1 and Sept. 30, the police made 619 motor vehicle stops, 391 of which were for speeding. Of those, 77 speeders received tickets and the rest got off with warnings. A random sample showed that 68 percent of the speeders were Bow residents. In total, the town collected $9,898 in fines.
