A family member just showed me an article today stating that Morris County/Township is going to be buying red light cameras for intersections.
NJ is falling to them .

Damnit. I was just thinking about how great it is that there are no red light cameras here. Is this article in the paper?
I'm not sure if it was in the paper. I saw an article my mom just handed me.

MORRISTOWN (WATE) -- Morristown is about to start cracking down on speeders and red light runners.
Cameras will be installed at these five intersections in early fall:
- Highway 25E and College Square Mall
- Morris Boulevard and Haun Drive
- Morris Boulevard and Cumberland Street
- Morris Boulevard and West Andrew Johnson Highway
- West Andrew Johnson Highway and Highway 160
6 News asked drivers if the cameras will change the way they drive.
"I don't think it will. I already obey the speed limit and I never run red lights," Mike Pina says.
However, another driver, Lisa Witt says, "It would make me slow down and be more aware of my surroundings."
City officials say a recent survey at one of the intersections showed nearly 40 drivers exceeding the speed limit by 15 miles per hour or more.
The cameras will begin issuing tickets beginning September 1.
there are radar based speed cameras tho right?
That's all I found by using google.
Speed cameras are illegal in NJ.
Copied directly from the New Jersey Permanent Statutes Database Title 39:

b.
