The hot spot for inconsiderate parking according to Sgt Ted Bloodworth is in Dells Lane with police saying commuters are leaving cars there because parking at the station is so expensive.
Police have now been in contact with First Capital Connect about the charges and are awaiting a response to see whether they might be reduced.
The other area police are concerned about is the speeding in Drove Road.
During the past three months police have monitored vehicles in the street with speed guns and this will continue for the foreseeable future.
