    crap...

Well, if they pulled over people driving in the left lane then things would be a lot smoother anyhow. Miami driving is very disorganized.

And there's the first post in this thread by a Floridian.

Best unmarked unit in FL I've seen in action? Jeep Cherokee, it's driving was odd but I was not expecting those lights (paced as an old couple passed me, I got the cite)

Charger lights while hard to pick out, are rapidly becoming part of my search pattern to look for the same as crown vic lights.

I learned to watch out for mustangs and chargers before I moved to FL. In Wilmington, NC they have TONS of them unmarked. One time I actually beat moving I/O. It was the middle of the night and I was like those could be charger lights.. hmm. So I coasted from about 60 in a 45 (I picked him out from pretty good distance) to about 52ish and then finally as it got closer I was more and more sure it was a dark charger and I fell below 50. As soon as I was about to pass him, full on Ka. I still almost crapped my pants even though I wasnt really speeding at that point. I was very happy and sad at the same time. Happy I beat him but sad at the very very strong upperhand they have. When I moved down here, I thought I could unlearn the charger and mustangs as unmarked units. But it looks like they are everywhere now...

There should be a site where there are pictures of the headlights and taillights of Crown Vics, Mustangs, and Chargers at night. I have tried looking for this and it would be a very useful resource.

OK, as a car-guy, I was rather disappointed by the video and story......

I want to know what they mean by "souped up!"

That just looks like a standard Charger R/T, with tinted windows, saddled with an extra few hundred pounds of police equipment, to me........

Tail gaiters and obsessive lane switching @ssclowns should be ticketed without hesitation. I also wish left lane hogs were targeted aggressively in this country. I drive pretty "briskly" and when I am in the left lane, if someone else is moving at a faster pace, I move to the middle or right lane without hesitation. Another thing I've noticed is that a lot of drivers never check their rearview mirrors.

+1 to all of what you said above, brother.

    I can't agree more.

I'm all about getting places faster - and having a more enjoyable ride/drive, while I 'm at it.

But as with you and many others here in this community, I believe, very strongly, that there's a good, safe, way to go about that, and it does not involve such dangerous driving "stunts."
