If you're driving along Patterson, let on up your lead-foot as police are watching your speed.
The Grand Junction Police are monitoring traffic along Patterson between 24 1/2 and 25 Road where construction crews are working.
Both eastbound lanes are marked as 25 mph zones with hefty fines attached if caught speeding.
Drivers going five to nine miles over the limit will receive a 1 point ticket with a $150 fine. Those traveling 10 to 19 miles over the limit will get a 4 point ticket and a $175 fine.
