APD to crackdown on
speed and sound

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Several officials said there will be a crackdown on speeders, aggressive drivers, and drivers who play their music too loud in Albuquerque this weekend.
Albuquerque Police Chief Ray Schultz explains the noise crackdown.
"Noise coming from a vehicle, music should not be heard more than 25 feet away from the vehicle if it is expect to be stopped by somebody from the department and most likely cited," Schultz said.
Schultz, along with Mayor Martin Chavez, announced that the traffic crackdown will start on Saturday.
Police will target aggressive drivers and speeders, specifically along Montgomery, Tramway, Paseo del Norte and Central Ave.
