KSP in special operation with Ohio, Michigan
Associated Press6:13 PM CDT, May 18, 2009 FRANKFORT, Ky. - Police in Kentucky are working with their counterparts in Ohio and Michigan on Wednesday to increase their patrols for commercial motor vehicle violations on Interstate 75.
The Kentucky State Police will be working with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Michigan State Police.
Officers will be looking for violations of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. That includes driver safety, documentation and commercial driver's license credentials.
Kentucky State Police say officers will also be looking out for moving violations, including speeding, unsafe lane changes and following too closely.
