    I don't think we have anything to worry about. Can you imagine the uproar if they were to start tracking individual people using this information? It would be a PR disaster for anyone involved. Traffic management is a problem that's only going to get bigger given the vast number of vehicles on our roads these days. Traffic jams are a headache for those who manage the infrastructure and possibly a greater headache for people who deal with them every single day. Not only that, but stop-and-go driving hits your wallet hard when you consider the increased fuel consumption and vehicle wear-and-tear. What I would LOVE to see is a system that independently maps out the quickest/most efficient route based on real-time traffic data. Could save stress, money, and potentially lives. I would think that this is already in the works somewhere.

    If it bothers you, just turn your phone off when you drive!

    or turn off the gps in the phone. My phone has that feature. Who cares its a life saving feature. Leave the gps on!
