Kentucky State Police focus on speeders

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Police are warning drivers in Kentucky to slow down.
State police have begun a campaign called "Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass" in which they target speeding and reckless drivers.
Troopers are partnering with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and local law enforcement during the campaign, which goes through July 31.
A special focus will be given to McCracken, Marshall and Calloway counties because they typically have a higher highway fatality rate that others.
