MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police officers will be running speed and pedestrian safety enforcement this week.
On Tuesday, members of the Traffic Enforcement Safety Team (T.E.S.T.) will be monitoring John Nolen Drive.
On Wednesday, T.E.S.T. officers will be enforcing speed and pedestrian safety in the 1200 - 2000 blocks of Wright Street.
On Thursday, T.E.S.T. officers will conduct speed enforcement on the 700 block of S. Midvale Blvd.
The Madison Police Department conducts speed and safety enforcements as a way to improve safety and compliance with traffic laws. The Department says that while enforcement efforts are an important part of public safety, officers also rely on the cooperation of the public to be aware and to follow traffic laws, whether as a pedestrian, bicyclist, or motorist.
