RALEIGH, NC (WMBF) - The NC State Highway Patrol and the Governor's Highway Safety Program is kicking off Operation Slow Down/No Need 2 Speed on Wednesday.
Local law enforcement agencies are joining troopers to encourage drivers to slow down and follow the speed limit. The campaign starts Monday and runs through Nov. 29.
