Wonderful... everyone's phone will cause RD falses now??

Whatever happened to the good old days when a phone was a PHONE, and not a camera, web browser, music player, and now a freakin' Bushnell...

I agree with you. They should just cause the phone to disable the other features when in motion!

One doesn't need radar in a phone to do that... GPS or the cell-phone equivalent would work as well.

If this newfangled "feature" is on K band, or X or Ka for that matter, I'll personally go to Nokia's headquarters and shove the prototype down the designer's throat.

Now if they want to put another creature feature into cell phones that we can really benefit from, how about a built-in radar DETECTOR? Or better yet, something that can warn you of speed traps before you encounter them.

Great find! Thanks for the post!

I love it! This is my phone! The Nokia N95.

Trust me, this is a phone first, and everything else after that. It is not as good a browser as the iphone, and isn't as good at organizing and displaying photos as the iphone, but it has everthing. I've had it for 2 years, and will not replace it until they come out with something better, which I don't think they have yet.

Before you know it, these cell mfg'ers will be throwing in a kitchen sink!
This is one of the lamest hi-tech for the sake of hi-tech things i've heard of yet!

On the bright side maybe, i don't think its radar freq. transmitter will be powerful enough to interfere with our RDers assuming it'll be within police bands. Its only meant for the device's immediate navigation controls. In addition, battery power consumption will also be a power limiting issue.
    But who knows?

LOL. Thats the first thing I noticed, the N95. I just recently sold mine and got the N86. Despite being 3 years old now, it is still one of the best feature packed phones out there.

    Dear Nokia,

Please use Ku-band, or, even better, S-band. Do not put this phone on X, K, or especially Ka-band, or I will be forced to go to your HQ and set the building on fire.

PS: Cool gizmo. I'll have to buy one and take it to baseball games with me.
