I don't even know what to say about the writer and his cometary. it is obvious that the speed limits are way to low for the roads and that this is solely about generating revenue for the state.

they are going easy on motorists as long as they pay the fine and court costs.

How often have you said this, or heard someone else say it, about cars passing you on the highway? How often when you are keeping up with traffic by driving five or ten miles over the speed limit has someone rocketed past you, going 30 or 40 miles over the speed limit?

Um, I never say that. 'Cuz it never happens.
