So, you think you want to drive drunk this weekend?

The Pennsylvania State Police Want You.

A sobriety checkpoint is planned this weekend for somewhere in Northampton County, state police Troop M reports in a news release from its Belfast barracks. It's part of a department-wide initiative called Checkpoint Strike Force II. Troop M has a sobriety checkpoint each weekend somewhere in Northampton, Bucks or Lehigh county.

"The purpose of this program is to reduce alcohol-related traffic crashes, and the number of deaths, injuries and property damage that they cause, through the use of sobriety checkpoints," the news release states.

Funny catch line, does this mean the state troopers will also be driving drunk
