Default New Jersey: Watching Some of the Worst Drivers in the World

Check out this sneaky mofo shooting LIDAR from an overpass through a hole in a chain link fence:

New Jersey: Watching some of the worst drivers in the world | NJ.com

My nightmare is driving in New Jersey, and I live it every day. Last week, for example, I was headed on Interstate 195 when I found myself stuck in a line of cars behind a Cadillac Escalade hogging the passing lane. The woman behind the wheel was chatting merrily on her cellphone, oblivious to all around her.

That wouldn’t happen in Germany. That lady would be on the bus. She’d never pass the driving test. Neither would most Jersey drivers, I imagine. Jersey drivers are awful.
What are the chances that New Jersey State Police Sgt. Thomas Hollywood (or any other NJ State Trooper) is going to ticket the left lane blocking ***** in the Escalade?

It all depends on the revenue that can be generated from the violation. Speeding generates more revenue so they focus on speeders. If the LEO's were focused on safety then they would ticket the slow drivers in the left lane. They would also focus more on drivers driving slow while on the cell phone and text messaging.

I wouldn't be surprised if the LEO on the overpass contributed to that accident in front of them by being a distraction. Drivers will jam on their brakes if they see a LEO shooting LIDAR on an overpass.

    Safety first!

Sure makes it easier for bridge jumpers and kids throwing crap at cars.

Why cut the fence , does a chain link fence even affect a laser gun performance.

I've shot my PL3 through a chain link fence (from a distance >10 ft away from the fence) by putting it into poor weather mode.

If you shoot right up to the fence, you have to make sure the mesh doesn't block the transmit and receive lenses on the gun.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
