What a shyster. I never have figured out how that crook ever got elected to anything, much less governor. That's a sad indictment of the people of PA.
One huge problem with the plan. Cars don't have to be insured. DRIVERS have to be insured. And if you aren't identifying the driver, as they say they are not, then you do not have the elements of an offence.

^^X2, looking forward to January.
I don't think there is a human being skilled enough to fix the mess this clown has created. I too am looking forward to September. I'll bet the cameras will fly, eventually.
I am looking to November when we vote as many idiots out as we can. I don't like the way things are heading.
What a crock.
I guess speed cameras were out of the question since somebody would dig up the stories from a few years ago about his personal limo going 100 MPH.
I miss governor Ridge...
And good point about his limo - I believe it was clocked going 100+ on several occasions, only pulled over once. Something about the state police leaving him alone cause they knew it was his limo...
Yup... just looked it up. It was clocked speeding 100+ NINE times:

X2, not only that but most State laws allow for Self-Insurance where you can buy yourself a bond for the same amount as liabilty insurance, etc.. A vehicle doesn't necessarily have to show up in a State's insurance database for the driver to be insured or even the vehicle it's self. Computer error and timing issues will lead to false tickets. There's a reason the TexaSure program isn't used to PULL PEOPLE OVER, because there's no probable cause that a person isn't insured, likewise cameras shouldn't be issuing tickets for this non sense either. Insurance is and always has been a secondary infraction, it should stay that way.
