    I believe if you speed in a school zone while children are present, you deserve whatever fine you get.

    I agree! With kids you know they are not paying attention to anything besides their self or friends. They are unpredictable, however in theory you can drive 30 MPH and slam on your breaks and still stay within your driving lane without skidding out of it.

    If parents or school officials watched out for the kids , it would be less of an issue. It's always blame the speeder though and that does irritate me. It should start with being a parent or guardian rather than focusing on the speeder alone.
