LaserCraft Announces Contract Awards, Installations

NORCROSS, Ga., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- LaserCraft, Inc. is pleased to
announce their selection for red light camera systems by the City of East
Point, Georgia. This selection follows a competitive bid process involving
major vendors from the industry. LaserCraft will provide equipment and
services at various locations in the City in an effort to reduce accidents,
injuries and fatalities caused by red light running. In addition to the
citation mailed to the violator, citizens will also be able to view a video
clip to confirm the violation.
In a related story, the City Council in Norcross, Georgia approved
LaserCraft as the provider of red light camera systems for the city at their
January 3rd Council meeting. Following County and DOT approvals, installation
will begin in Spring 2006.
Currently, 12 cities or counties in Georgia use LaserCraft's technology to
enforce red light violations. The City of Riverdale in Clayton County,
Georgia, is the latest city to start issuing citations at its first
intersection following a 30-day warning period. 68 camera systems are
operating or in various stages of installation by LaserCraft in the State with
an additional 87 camera systems capturing violations in other states.
