I wonder what happens when the tourists are in rental cars? Or when the drove here from Ontario? This is the last thing Florida needs, what bozo's we have running the state. I suspect many will choose not to pay the fine and not to return. Way to go FL!

Edit: sent to Sun-Sentinel. Thanks for the info.

This is sh*tty. Ill be moving to miami this summer, im not looking forward to these cameras. Ill have my STI-R Plus by then though, so I guess it wont be too much of an issue. Switch, you're in the miami area right? Have you had any experience with these new cameras yet?

I'm actually not sure which ones would cost so much to run. I see the RLCs all the time though. Between the Cheetah C50 and Trapster, I haven't had any surprises yet (knock on wood). I haven't come across any that seem to have a shortened yellow light duration.

The bulk of them seem to be in Miami, however, they are turning up at more intersections in Broward and Palm Beach counties more and more.
