Proposed Bill Would Allow Darker Car Windows in Virginia--WTF DARKER TINT LEGAL!

I am surprised that this is even becoming an issue in this ****ty state. I don't think that limo tint has anything to do with safety of police officers.

One of the first things they told us in the police academy was that 90-95% of the time when a police officer is shot an killed is usually because they did not do what they had been taught.

When I first herd this in class I did not understand how they came up with that figure. Now I get it. I could not agree with it more now that I have 22 plus years with a badge.


I'll be very surprised if this make it all the way.

damn i wish Illinois had that. We just barely lucked by with 35% in the front as a law for 2010. I doubt they'll make it any darker.

While window tint does help keep cars cooler in hotter areas (Nevada has some mondo-tint laws), in California you are not allowed any tint on front side windows - for a good reason. I have 50% on front and when at a stop sign in residential area - not well lit - it is defintely harder to see someone walking in crosswalk.
