Where is the warrant? I am surprised that things get this far. Here is a perfect market for a cell phone scrambler that would defeat cell phone scanning.

They are not scanning it via wireless . They are asking people if they can search their phone and dumb idiots are saying yes. No scrambler needed. Just say NO TO THE POLICE! It's not just say NO to drugs anymore folks!

I read that earlier. what I wonder is what will they do if you say NO. will they just accept that and drop it or take other measures? what are the state laws on giving up your phone for scanning?
I know some rules regarding the feds on this but that's it. I would guess the state laws are no different then the feds.
and why would anyone say yes to having their phone scanned? I can understand people saying yes to a vehicle search but a phone search?
