Escort Laser and Radar Detectors Joins D&R for 2006
Boasting not only a new bright orange and blue color scheme for the debut of the IndyCar season, the sidepods of the #5 Dreyer & Reinbold Racing entry also showcase a new IRL sponsorship with ESCORT laser and radar detectors. The #5 D&R Honda/Dallara/ Firestone car is driven by Indy 500 winner and IRL Series Champion Buddy Lazier.

The D&R Sponsorship is part of an innovative new marketing campaign for ESCORT, seeking to appeal to a wider consumer audience which is performance driven. The theme will be integrated into the IndyCar sponsorship as well as ESCORT’s supportive marketing efforts and collaborative materials.

The Indy Racing League will run their second event of the 2006 season on the streets of St. Petersburg at the Honda at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The race will be carried live Sunday, beginning at 3:30 pm on ESPN, IMS Radio Network and XM Satellite Radio.
