Check out the new version of ProjectEZP.com. This site provides a new free service to avoid speed traps and other tricky areas in USA and other countries. The technology is based on a database of the GPS coordinates of speed traps. To utilize this service, all you need to do is download the database to your GPS navigation system or in car computer and it will warn you when you approach one of these many known traps. The new version includes:
- 26000 spots around the world.
- 5800 spots in USA
- twenty countries covered from Australia to Ukraine.
- Windows Executable file. You can install it on your in-car computer (carputer or laptop).

GPS is free to use but you need a GPS system or handheld. My dad gave me his old marine GPS now that my sister and i bought him a new top of the line one that he can use out on the boat or on road trips. His is so pimp now. He let me use it for a trip up to vermont, and it worked out great. this is how it's set up from my road trip

I didn't get lost or get a ticket woth this set up

His old one i just use to remember fishing spots or where i kept my lobster pots[/img]

Gee you must live a shelter life. GPS signal is free the equipment is like $400 bucks for a decent unit.

You can get COM port GPS receiver from eBay for ~$70.

On the other side, if you cannot afford GPS, you may not afford good tires and brake job. Maybe you should keep your speed in check. Sorry, I do not mean to be a prick.

Anyone use tirerack? $40 apiece for some 210km/h low profile tires for my car that's not bad but no install :x
