Default Navalert - Automute your radar detector

Were looking to make a interface so that user can user user position to save areas where they would liek to automatically mute their radar detector, we are looking for feedback on how users would like it to operate (not comments about how muting their radar detector is dangerous because it is can be).

Please let us know your feedback here:

    It would work like this.

User goes to area where false alarm occurs,
they mark that location using the user position save feature .
This now sets up a radius zone of 100 yards so that the next time you enter this area your detector is automatically muted. - this could mute real radar in these areas so it would be a use at your own risk fo doing that.

No more falses when your stuck infront of that microwave door sensor or alarm system.

For me I basically only have KA and Laser to worry about. X and K in my town are worry free Now if I go to a different town that I was unfamiliar with well that's when this feature would come in handy because I could go set the falses and if any K band goes off I could treat it with a higher level of it being a threat.

An example of this is those that saw my videos between the V1 and Bel Pro RX65 using K band "Your Speed Is" signs that is the unfamiliar town I am talking about. They do use K band ( local LEO's) but I rarely go there but enough to know the false alerts for K band. So this would be the reason I would want it.

I'd like that. There are certain areas, like right in front of the drugstore on the way to work, that would be great to mute. Bad side: I'd probably have to buy a new radar detector and give up my trusty super-sensitive BEL 980.

But it's no fair if it doesn't work on the Navalert I already have!!

Your Navalert is flash upgradable for free! That means if this feature comes out for your Navalert you would get the feature when you next update your unit via our website - in seconds!!

You will need to buy a interface cable of course, but were still verifying all the details right now to confirm its possible.

    cheers

Sounds like a great idea. Glad to see such a customer focused company.
