    Default Shorten start-up greeting?

Is there maybe a software option in the works to abbreviate the start-up greeting? Like just "system active" or "Navalert on" or something? It gets a little long after about the 20th time you hear it (no offense!)

Yeah , I am thinking of changing it to simply

"start up tone" then "fasten seatbelt" if we save just one life because of that then its worth having for everyone.

in a few months time were emailing all registered users with a few difernt start up prompts, what ever receives the most replys will set what we will change.

    Default More Modern Tones Needed...

    Hello,

With all due respect for all the hard work that has gone into (and continues to go into) NavAlert, the "ding-dong" tone does get quite old after awhile. It sounds like my grandmother's doorbell. In this world of high-tech sounds and cellular phone ringtones, maybe a more modern tone might "blend in" a little better. The idea of customizable tones is great!
