    Default Sunlight Tolerance

Can I leave this on the dash or need I constantly take it up / down and wear out the power plug? I am more likely to use it if I can keep it on the dash all the time.

I did receive my navalert today and it is a pleasant surprise, especially the heading feature (my car has no compass), it is much smaller than I expected and looks kind of cool on my dash, the cord is pretty easy to hide, it detects the satellites very easily (even in my garage).

    Thanks!
    Craig

I would if you can mount it on your steering column, i would never leave any device in plain view when your not in the car.

    Thanks!

Also, will the adhesive cause any damage? I have been afraid to attach it.

Should not, just make sure your dash has no wax on it or it wont stick!
