    Default Initial impressions...

I posted some initial impressions of the Cheetah + Bel RX 65 combination under the general forum area, thinking that might be a more relevant area for discussing the combined use of these devices.

I'll say here that I'll probably be getting another one of these GPS mirrors for my girlfriend's car. Even with the same Bel as me, she's still getting some tickets.

I don't know if she's tuning out legitimate alerts, along with false alarms, but she's been ticketed in known radar trap areas. j

Maybe I'll just save, as "personal locations," every speed trap area, playground zone, and donut store I know of, then give her my mirror. She obviously needs help being alerted to danger spots, and this mirror is just the...ticket. So to speak. Heheheh.

Ally, thanks again, by the way, for your excellent customer service. I'm completely sold and, as noted, about to be sold twice, by the looks of it.

Thanks for the feedback, Brett. Glad you like it.

You'll love the False Alarm Suppression on your RX65.

I already love the false alarm suppression using 50kmh (30 mph) as the minimal speed for the alarm to be audidibly reported. This is really taking out many of the "false" alarms.

I'm visiting Vancouver, where if one didn't know better, one might thing the radar detector was throwing a fit. With City Mute engaged, just a single comment here and there, "K band."

Prior to the Cheetah, I was planning to turn K band off and just live dangerously in city driving. No need, now. It's no bother.
