This can't possibly be street legal. I'm sorry to everyone who makes plate blockers of sorts, but I have to say most of the ones I've seen seem so unreasonably intrusive that they can't possibly be legal to use.
I saw this in person at the sema show. I couldn't believe it. I shot video of the product. It would just look so stupid in my opinion.
Here's a picture, doens't look so silly to me. I will be buying one....

does radardetector.net have a dedicated section to photo radar plate protection? How many brands are out there, and what do they cost? Are some too dark = LEO trouble?
Washington:
Sounds like it's up to the courts to decide its legality. But no explicit wording to make it illegal, I like it .It is unlawful to use any holders, frames, or any materials that in any manner change, alter, or make the vehicle license number plates illegible.
I don't think the LEOs are going to like it when they pull in the lane next to yours, and try to read your plates at an angle.
Just went to the site....30 dollars each?! I'll duct tape a piece of aluminum foil sticking out, or something.
Definitely not legal in TX.
