    Default License plate laser shields

Does anyone know if my license plate laser shield interferes with the plate readers that LEO's have mounted on the top's of their cruisers?

damm you must be running from the police! haha, i saw that show that a new CA smart police car has ir license plate reader and reads everyone to see if its stolen, or on the look out and if so locks its gps and the direction its heading.

The reason I ask is because I've received a couple of "hard looks" from LEO's (that have the readers) as I passed by them.

I don't think it would effect camera systems at all. Even the speed/red light cameras have worked around most plate covers specifically designed to defeat them.

Well, except for this one maybe
